Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
The fuss made about this is unbelievable, fuck all happened and now the club are saying they're going to ban 200 fans, fucking joke they should be supporting us as well. But no they want to socially cleanse the fucking support and turn the place into a popcorn eating family fun day out, why dont they just put ballpits in so the kiddies can play in there too.

This fucking move is a move away from the people that support west ham, how many people throw anything a dozen at most, ban them but to ban people for standing up and singing and chanting at aways fans is pathetic.

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
The upper and lower tierz share the same entrance and concourse, just a small set of wooden stairs upto the upper, impossible to segregate.
They have got it right but just need to completely cage in the away section and keep them in for at least 15 mins afterwards.

A much bigger problem is just outside the stadium and the wider area as it's so open and connected.
How do you get away fans in and out without them mixing with us and without blocking off access to our blocks and our prefered train station?

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
This current stadium is perfect for when football was a buzz, and the surrounding area is too. If they sorted it back then they will sort it out in the near future. This beats those wankers who piss took on here about it being all foam fingers, looks like the half & half scarf sellers are struggling too.

Let the mincers on here with a continual gripe moan on...........they swapped their mincey reasons to dislike the new stadium enough times already.

How can they only have the upper tier ffs?

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
The away fans should only be housed in the upper tiers 213-218 and kept behind the game for 15 mins after the whistle. Problem solved.

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
Nothing wrong with the stadium. All is fine at the north, west and east sides now.

The south end and away sections need sorting, better segregation, better stewarding and policing and a better exit strategy at the end of the game.

That is all.

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
Call it what you want, handbags or an out an out riot but again things got out of hand & the stadium is not equipped or laid out to deal with these issues.

All it would take is for someone to fall down and be trampled and Gold, Sullivan & Brady have blood on their hands.

Some minimum wage stewards and netting simply isn't enough to stop these issues that did not occur at Upton Park.

Again...it's all done on the cheap after it wasn't done at all.

This board need to move on, stadium management needs to be put in place with football experience & proper policing needs to be there before something that can't be fixed happens.

I don't think the Millwall assault on Charlton's stand was serious, BR13.

If they had got through, they would have been smashed to pieces. They just wanted to make a noise, with plenty of time to run away.

What great eyesight that man has if he knows all of those coins were chucked by West Ham.I think he is still upset that he lost.

I feel your pain, I was 9 years old back at Watford in 2000 and had a hot dog thrown at me.

Of all places, Watford. I think I'd of preferred a coin even at that age, ketchup and mustard down my favorite white t-shirt at the time.

Don't remember my Dad running to the papers to publish my story though, rather laughed me out the ground.

Re: You've killed our club... (Now back from the dead)
Agree Boleyn, was nothing like the 70's & 80's.

Been caught up in aggro at Spurs in 81, had coins raining down on us from the shelf above and milk bottles lobbed at me outside and was charged by mounted police, and I was trying to avoid the trouble.
Also remember going to Charlton away and Millwall turned up and tried to kick in the back of the stand to get into our end.

Stuff like that just doesn't happen these days to normal fans. Any real violence is usually arranged before and happens away from the stadium and the public and police.

Didn't even see anyone actually get close enough to throw a punch last night in the stadium and saw nothing outside, I was close to the trouble and it was nothing but handbags from a load of mouthy twenty somethings.
Did see a few coins being lobbed into Chelsea which aint nice as it's indiscriminate and can cause injury.
